Dear Santa,

hmm. what do i want for xmas? I don't really know. i mean, i'd like a pair of new havainnas. but they cost so much? its as if Jesus/you don't want me to get them. cos i hear they have fakies at beach road for like 5 bucks. that's Jesus "helping" me, isn't it? ah, trivial.

anyway, santa, i'll stop being insensitive and quit talking about jesus, you must feel shitty now. christmas is 5 days away. and I dont know if its whether you and your elves aren't working hard enough or if it's just me, but i ain't feeling it, homie! christmas feels so foreign, it scares me, partially.

well santa, i haven't been good at all this year. no, no, no. so i dont expect anything in your sleigh for me. maybe just help people to smile more and sigh less. yeah, and give Singaporeans better manners, would you. like giving up a seat in the train, they need to learn shit like this. maybe a nice book on basic courtesy for those ingrates. yeah, maybe.

alright santa, this has been nice. i feel so unmaterialistic. yay me. happy christmas santa!

love,
theresa

P.S. could you send some forgiveness? i could use a bit. lovelove!

Unknowingly today, I went about thinking "I am Legend" was already in cinemas. Fool. Well, if anyone's on the same boat, its not out till Christmas, honey. So there, now that we've set things straight, I must say, The Tattooist (which was what I decided on watching eventually) is a movie worth watching. And although the first 20 minutes does give a very deceiving touch to our nightsky, and "calafares" just always look better (and way more comfortable/normal) when they're Caucasian, I still think its worth at least 3 out of 5 popcorns!

Anyways, after the movie, Tim and I found ourselves stuck. Literally. It was raining. (Note: I hate rain) Yet another fact unknown to me till today, Cineleisure Orchard is on its own. It has no underpass, covered-walkway or anything that could provide shelter whatsoever. So for approximately one hour, we stayed in there. Doing. Absolutely. Nothing. Then I felt so depressed at the fact that I was stuck in a place where there wasn't even a CD shop, I went and bought Mrs Field's cookies. Then continued standing at the entrance/exit of the building laughing at people who tried not to slip and fall/ slipped and fell anyway. I know that was terrible of us, but if you were put in my position, you would have found that other than mocking others, the only other form of entertainment would probably be.. the Cheers convenience store? Afterwhich, I had my Karma when I realised I was in my pair of non-slip proof flip flops. So, I hobbled in the rain while grabbing onto Timmy till we got to Paragon where Timmy got ATM-happy and bought himself a Banana Republic tee. And I bought a...

Fisher-Price toy from Toys R Us. For baby Ryan's Xmas party on Saturday (It's a little early, I know). Its a toolbox that teaches ABC, numbers and colours. All for $39.90. It makes me partially happy that my gift will kick Mom's gift's ass cos hers is only a couple of rompers from Mothercare. HAHAHAHA. Anyhows, the toy not only caused me much problem, having to lug it around in trains during peak hour, but also, I couldn't get it switched off. It is one of those toys where it is opened up, and most of it is showing. And there are various "Try me!" buttons. So tunes starting playing while I was in the train. Like that was not bad enough, the machine began to count and sing the Alphabet Song. I finally got it to switch off, after giggles from the large crowd in the train.

Right. So that was my day. I am off! Sparky looks like he needs some TLC.
